life drawing

January 1, 2018

Other than jewellery (doodling, designing, making and wearing) I also enjoy other creative outlets, though as a mum of two young children I don't get much time to explore such hobbies without little ones in tow. One such activity I used to partake in, and plan to again in the future, is life drawing.

The human form played a huge role in my studies throughout art college and university, and of course, with jewellery being a wearable form of art, you need to consider the various forms of the body when considering designs and practicalities for new ideas.

My styles are quite expressive rather than detailed - usually on a larger scale (a2 / a1) with crude strokes in various media.

If anyone knows of any relaxed classes for life drawing in or around St.Neots / Cambridgeshire, then I would be happy to hear about them and maybe give them a go...
