The history of valentines day, has roots in the ancient Roman festival of Lupercalia which as a celebration of fertility originally held on February 15th; it was then adapted to a Christian feast day on the 14th, before adapting again to its current form. So, it evolved from nudity to feasting, and in more recent times on to romance and gift giving... it seems there is always room for change.
Why not deviate from the "norm" and ditch the roses and chocolates in favor of something a bit more personal?
Here at Kathleen Jackson Jewellery we can offer truly bespoke commissions; you can surprise your loved one with a custom-made item, bespoke sketches (if you want their approval before taking the next step), a gemstone (ready to be turned in to something wonderful), some gift vouchers, or even a consultation booking so they can join the fun of the design process (we even have specific gift packs for this very purpose).
