How do I place an order?

For a pre-designed item from one of our collections, you can buy directly from the website by clicking "add to cart". To place an order for a bespoke item, simply get in touch to get the ball rolling - we will then work together to gain an understanding of your design requirements, material preferences and ideal price range; afterwhich the design process will begin. For further information on how to begin a bespoke commission, please click here.

How much does it cost?

Essentially this is like asking "How long is a piece of string?"  as the price will depend on a vast array of variables in terms of design and material choices; but rest assured that we design items to fit within your budget - whatever price range you have in mind. We will make it our priority to create you a beautiful, high quality, bespoke item  to suit whatever you wish to spend. If you have a particular idea you would like us to quote for, or would like to see what designs might be possible within a set amount, just get in touch via our contact page and a member of our team will get back to you.

Can I purchase gift vouchers?

Yes, Kathleen Jackson Jewellery gift vouchers come in multiples of £20, £50 and £100. They are available for purchase online here. Alternatively, you can request custom values providing they are over £100 - please email us directly to order.

How long does it take?

Pre-designed items are available to purchase immediately online or through our various stockists; whereas a bespoke commission usually takes around 6-8 weeks to create once your deposit has been paid. If you have a specific deadline in mind, please do not hesitate to get in touch as there are often ways to overcome perceived time restraints, and we will always do what we can to get your jewellery to you as soon as possible.

What are your payment and shipping options?

Online payments for pre-designed items can be made via credit/debit cards or paypal; to purchase items in person or over the phone, we accept card payments or direct bank transfers; full payment is required for such items.
For bespoke commissions, once the final design has been confirmed, we begin by taking a 50% deposit - the balance of which is payable upon completion, prior to postage.

When sending out our jewellery items, we use "Royal Mail Special Delivery" within the UK (free of charge) and "Parcelforce" for overseas customers (please contact us in advance to check we are able to ship to your country and to confirm costs); both of these services are trackable and insured, with guaranteed delivery dates. Further information can be found here.

What will be included in my order and how is it packaged?

Your jewellery will be presented in a black "eco friendly" jewellery box with a silver embossed logo; accompanied by a branded envelope containing a polishing cloth and your paperwork (invoice, company information, aftercare advice, and for bespoke commissions you will also get a design sketch and a valuation certificate). If collected in person they will be in a branded gift bag; if sent via post, they will be dispatched in an unbranded postal bag - this is partially for security reasons, but also so you can keep any surprises a secret.

What are your policies for returns & refunds?

In the rare event you are not totally happy with your jewellery purchase, you have 21 days to return your item(s) in the original packaging and in unworn condition; our team can then organise an exchange/refund for pre-designed stock items *terms and conditions apply   or discuss potential alterations to commissioned pieces as they cannot be exchanged/refunded - further details are listed here.

What do you mean by "jewellery with a conscience"?

Our aim in life is to leave a big impact on people and a small impact on the globe; and so, client satisfaction is of the utmost importance alongside the ability to be as "green" as possible - using sustainable, recycled, fair trade, and/or ethical products as much as possible (including options such as fairtrade gold, fairly traded gemstones and conflict free diamonds), as well as limiting energy and chemical use during production, and even ensuring our jewellery boxes are made of materials from a sustainable source. Further information can be found here.

What materials can you work with?

We prefer creating jewellery from Fairtrade golds and/or recycled silver, but are able to work with all precious metals (silver, 9ct/18ct yellow, rose and white golds, palladium, and platinum) and a range of precious / semi-precious gemstones (including both faceted cuts and rough pieces). We are also open to working with alternative materials should they be applicable, please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any specific materials in mind for your own bespoke commission.
